Black Friday has officially started, and the big retailers (Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart) have released excellent deals on several TVs. Whether you're on a budget and want the biggest TV you can get for the least amount of money, or you're at the other end of the spectrum and you're willing to pay more for the best image quality and features (while still getting a good price, of course), there's a deal here for everyone. I'll keep this article updated through Black Friday.
The Best Black Friday TV Deals So Far
65" LG Evo C3 4K OLED TV
I've been waiting for another good OLED TV deal to pop up for Black Friday ever since the previous one expired, and Amazon has finally delivered. Right now you can pick up a 65" LG Evo C3 4K OLED Smart TV for only $1,196.99 shipped. The LG Evo C-series OLED TVs have won top spots in several of our buying guides, including best 4K TV, best TV for gaming, and best TV for the PlayStation 5. This is an especially good choice if you picked up the new PS5 Pro, since the updated hardware will be able to run more games at a consistent 4K @ 120fps.
55" Hisense R6 4K Roku TV
The entry-level Hisense R6-series 4K smart TV offers a limited set of features in exchange for a rock bottom price. Don't expect this TV to be decked out with the latest cutting-edge technology, however what you'll get is a native 4K TV that works out of the box and still offers solid image quality that will satisfy most TV watchers. It has built-in speakers and Roku smart TV baked in. Roku is actually our favorite streaming hub because of its intuitive interface.
85" Hisense R6 4K Roku TV
If you have space to accommodate a much larger TV and you're looking for an excuse to fill up all that wall space, then this Black Friday deal should be a convincing argument. Walmart is offering the massive 85" version of its entry-level Hisense R6 4K Roku TV for - get this - $548. There are certainly better gaming TVs out there, but you'll have to pay hundreds (or even thousands) more for a TV this size.
65" Samsung S90D 4K OLED Smart TV
Here's your chance to get one of the best OLED TVs on the market at an amazing price. Right now, Samsung, Amazon, and Best Buy are offering the current 2024 model 65" Samsung S90D 4K OLED Smart TV for only $1,399.99 after a massive 48% off price drop. This is an excellent TV to pair up with your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. In fact, this TV could even be a better gaming TV than the LG C4. Although we haven't personally tested it, RTINGS says that the S90D is brighter, has a wider color gamut, better color volume, wider viewing angle, and better HDR gradient handling.
55" Samsung The Frame Series 4K Smart TV
The Samsung LS03D is the new 2024 model and it is on sale at an appreciable discount for the first time. Every size is currently marked down, but the best deals are for the 55" model for $899.99 and the 65" model for $1299.99. Samsung's "The Frame" sets itself apart from all other TVs with its seamless aesthetics. It features an Art Mode that showcases your choice of fine art similar to a screen saver on your computer. You can choose art purchased from the Samsung Art Store or your own personal collection of NFTs, personal photos, wallpapers, or whatever else you want displayed. The TV bezel is thin and can be customized with different colors and designs to make it look like an art frame. No TV stand is included because "The Frame" is supposed to look more like a painting than a TV set. Instead, you get a slim wall mount.
75" Westinghouse 4K Roku TV for $399.99
The Target Black Friday Sale is also live, and there are two TVs that are worth consider for any budget shopper. Target has slashed the price on this 75" Westinghouse 4K Roku TV down to $399.99 after a $100 instant discount. That makes it one of the least expensive 75" TVs we've seen so far. Like the Hisense R6, this TV boasts the intuitive Roku smart TV interface for immediate out-of-the-box enjoyment.
65" Hisense 4K Smart TV for $254.99
Target's second TV deal is this H65" Hisense A6 Xumo TV for $255 shipped. Again, this is one of the least expensive 65" TV deals we've seen so far and has a good chance of staying that way. This Hisense TV uses the uncommon Xumo TV smart interface. I'm sure it's pretty simple to use, although I haven't tried it out myself. If you would rather use a smart interface that's more familliar to you, you can pick up a Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99 or a Roku Ultra LT for $34.
85" Hisense QD7 4K 144Hz QLED Gaming TV
Best Buy and Walmart have dropped the price on the 85" Hisense QD7 4K Smart TV. Right now, you can get it for just $799.99 after a $400 instant discount. This is an excellent deal for a huge TV that can run games in 4K at up to 144Hz on your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console. It costs hundreds of dollars less than every TV in our roundup of the best TVs for PlayStation 5. If you bought a PS5 Pro, perhaps this will help alleviate the sting of spending $700 on a console.
55" Hisense U7 Series 4K QLED Mini-LED Google TV
The Hisense U7 is a high end TV (the second best TV in Hisense's lineup after the U8) at a low end price. It has all the features that befits a premium TV, like a quantum dot Mini-LED panel with full array local dimming, a 120Hz panel capable of up to 144Hz variable refresh rate, both Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support, and HDMI 2.1 inputs so you can play PS5 and Xbox Series X games in 4K at up to 120fps.
55" TCL F35-Series 4K Fire TV
Best Buy has its own Black Friday Sale going on with the most TV deals of any retailer at the moment. The best deal for budget shoppers right now is this 55" Insignia F50 4K Fire TV for $179.99, making it comparable in price to Walmart's Hisense 55" TV deal. The difference is that the Insignia F50 uses Amazon Fire TV instead of Roku. Choose your TV depending on which streaming interface you prefer. Insignia is Best Buy's house brand and this TV lineup is generally priced well below what most mainstream TV manufacturers can compete against.
98" TCL QM7 4K QLED Mini-LED Google TV
If you're in the "bigger is better" camp, have we found the deal for you. Amazon is currently offering this massive 98" TCL QM7 4K Smart TV for only $1999.99. This is a 2024 model with a lot of premium features, like a quantum dot Mini-LED display, a native 120Hz panel with up to 144Hz VRR and HDMI 2.1 inputs for the best possible gaming experience on your PS5 or Xbox Series X console, and an intuitive Google TV interface that works seamlessly with your Android phone.
65" Hisense CanvasTV and TCL NXTFRAME Art TVs
Do you like the idea of the Samsung The Frame TV series but don't want to pay the Samsung prices. Well both Hisense and TCL have less expensive alternatives of more or less the same thing. These TVs are designed to look more like an art installation than a blank TV screen when you're not using it. As such, they share similar characteristics to The Frame TV, including the matte display, picture frame style bezel, and included ultra-slim wall mount.
77" 4K OLED TVs at Great Prices
OLED TVs still command a premium price, but they've still come down enormously over the years. For Black Friday, you can pick up one of two 2024 77" OLED TVs for only $1599.99. That's an excellent deal considering the fact that this is the price for a 65" OLED TV on any given day. Both TVs are 2024 models and have true OLED panels, meaning they offer near infinite black levels and near instantaneous response time. They are both equipped with a native 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 ports, so you can play games on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X unencumbered.
The Samsung Black Friday Sale Has Started
If you're looking to buy a TV from one of the big three brands (Samsung, LG, or Sony), Samsung has the best deals going right now. Samsung's Black Friday Sale has significant price drops on 2024 model TVs. Most of these discounts can also be redeemed at third party retailer like Amazon and Best Buy. One TV - the QNX1D - is a Samsung.com exclusive.
75" Samsung DU6950 4K Smart TV
This excellent deal is exclusive to Best Buy. The Samsung DU6950 is an entry level TV for those of you who trust and want to stick with the Samsung brand but are still looking for a budget TV. This an updated 2024 model that makes for a great basic gaming TV thanks to its low response time and variable refresh rate.
Looking for a PlayStation 5 deal to pair with your TV?
Sony recently announced that all of their Black Friday specials will go live on Friday, November 21 and that has proven to be the case. Amazon, Best Buy, and Target are three of Sony's major authorized resellers and the discounts have already gone live on-site.
