“A Free Spirit” is a mystery you’ll find in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. You’ll need to find and photograph a black cat named Signor Smushki, skulking somewhere around the Vatican (or, ahem, the Catican).
Our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide will show you how to complete “A Free Spirit” but showing you exactly where to find Signor Smushki.
How to start the ‘A Free Spirit’ mystery
To start “A Free Spirit,” head over to the Tower of Nicholas V — the same place you go for the Sacred Wounds puzzle. Across the street from the entrance, there’s a bulletin board on the wall.
Pick up the flyer on the left side to start the mystery.
Where to find the black cat, Signor Smushki
They flyer suggests that Signor Smushki is up on the roof of Nicholas’ tower, but that’s not quite true.
Head into the tower and then into the center room (you passed through here on your way to the Underworld). Look at the balcony above you for place you can whip up to and climb. On the second level, look above you for another whipable climbing spot.
When you climb through the window, you’ll be on some scaffolding. Turn left and climb up onto the nearby roofs. Continue along and you’ll pass a white cat (snap a picture to earn some extra Adventure Points).
From the white cat, turn right and cross the narrow rooftop. At the far side, turn left to cross another narrow roof. You’ll find Signor Smushki against the wall at the other end.
Snap a picture and then return to the bulletin board to complete the “A Free Spirit” mystery.
