Fortnite OG sees Fortnite travel seven years into the past — bringing back its original map and weapon loot pool.
Debuting in Dec. 2024, the dedicated and permanent mode sees nostalgic point-of-interests and weapons from Chapter 1 Season 1 return, while new takes on classic skins appear in the dedicated Fortnite OG battle pass.
Here’s everything coming in Fortnite OG, including the map, weapons, and the OG Pass.
Fortnite OG map and POIs
The Fortnite OG map is the same state as when Fortnite Battle Royale debuted back in 2017 in “Season 1”, but there has been a few Ziplines and Ascenders added for Zero Build players. See the Fortnite OG map above, alongside a list below of the returning POIs:
- Anarchy Acres
- Dusty Depot
- Fatal Fields
- Flush Factory
- Greasy Grove
- Lonely Lodge
- Moisty Mire
- Pleasant Park
- Retail Row
- Salting Springs
- Tomato Town
- Wailing Woods
Fortnite OG weapon loot pool
The OG loot pool returns to what it was on Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 1 Season 1’s launch day, including the original traps. Additionally, more items will be unvaulted as the Fortnite OG season goes on.
Here is, to quote developer Epic Games, “some” of the guns you can expect in Fortnite OG’s Chapter 1 Season 1:
- Assault Rifle
- Burst Assault Rifle
- Scoped Assault Rifle
- Pump Shotgun
- Tactical Shotgun
- Pistol
- Revolver
- Submachine Gun
- Tactical Machine Gun
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
- Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle
- Grenade Launcher
- Rocket Launcher
- Damage Trap
- Ceiling Zapper
- Wall Dynamo
Fortnite OG Pass
The Fortnite OG Pass will feature 45 tiers of rewards from the past, but with a twist. The Skull Trooper, Renegade Raider, and Aerial Assault Trooper have been given a revamped look and are coming back as Skull Commander, Renegade Rebel, and Aerial Assault Bomber. Each outfit will be available in the pass along with an alternate style.
The Chapter 1 Season 1 OG Pass is available until January 31, 2025, at 2 a.m. EST, which seems to hint at a Chapter 1 Season 2 OG Pass shortly after.
If you’re also playing Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, here’s our explainer on sprites and sprite shrine locations, demons, Godzilla, where to find oni masks, and how to get the Vault Key (and find Bushranger).
