Players will march out once again to play as Demetrian Titus, the gravelly-voiced hero who hasn't aged a day (thanks to genetic enhancements). Back in action after a century, Titus leads the charge against the terrifying Tyranids, a swarm of alien horrors that want nothing more than to turn humanity into snacks.
The campaign features stunning alien landscapes and gothic cityscapes dressed up with massive waves of kids; it's so cool. Every encounter feels satisfyingly brutal, from wielding chain swords to blasting away with bolt rifles. The game's melee executions recharge your shields and provide a bloody spectacle of carnage. Carnifex beasts or mowing down infantry, Space Marine 2 keeps the action fresh with varied enemy types and weapons.
Additional modes like Operations and Eternal War are enjoyable multiplayer roles outside the campaign. While the PvE missions are fun but limited, the potential for future updates and the ability to fully customize your Space Marine's armor make this a game you'll want to keep revisiting.

"Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a terrific third-person shooter with a compelling story, loads of weapons that are a blast to use, and a healthy variety of enemies to use them on. It once again borrows many of its ideas from the Gears of War series, but they're good ideas, and Space Marine 2 does a fine job of making them its own. And while the Operations PvE mode that accompanies it doesn't currently offer enough to keep me coming back, the deep customization options for your Space Marine do look promising if it's supported in post-launch updates as planned. Besides, when you're eviscerating aliens on planets as pretty as these, it's hard not to leave satisfied."
